JAKARTA, RIAUSATU.COM - Pemerintah menetapkan penurunan harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM) jenis Pertamax turun menjadi Rp12.800 per liter. Penurunan tersebut diumumkan pada Selasa, 3 Januari 2023.
Dengan penurunan harga tersebut, Pertamax menjadi BBM RON 92 termurah di Indonesia bersama Vivo Revvo 92. Sebagai pembanding, harga produk sejenis di Shell dan BP-AKR masing-masing Rp14.180 per liter dan Rp13.030 per liter.
Harga Pertamax Turbo merosot dari Rp15.200 per liter menjadi Rp14.050 per liter. Selain itu, Dexlite merosot dari Rp18.300 per liter menjadi Rp16.150 per liter, dan Pertamina Dex dari Rp 18.800 per liter ke Rp16.750 per liter.

Turunnya harga BBM jenis Pertamax ini dikonfirmasi oleh Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir melalui keterangan resmi. Erick Thohir mengatakan bahwa penurunan tersebut adalah arahan langsung dari Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"Sesuai arahan Presiden Jokowi dan rapat tiga menteri: Menkeu Sri Mulyani, Menteri ESDM Arifin Tasrif, dan Menteri BUMN, Alhamdulillah per hari ini Pertamina melakukan penyesuaian harga jual BBM nonsubsidi," ucap Erick Thohir dikutip Pikiran-Rakyat.com melalui Instagram @erickthohir pada Selasa, 3 Januari 2023.
Harga Pertamax dengan angka oktan RON 92 turun Rp1.100 per liter. Sebelumnya BBM jenis Pertamax dengan angka oktan RON 92 memiliki harga Rp13.900 per liter.
